Frequently Asked Questions

Shopware

  • Is the endereco plugin compatible with the „Packstation“ plugin from Repertus?

Yes, it is - with a small adjustment. Simply deactivate the setting „Divide street into street name and house number“ in the backend of the endereco plugin. Then you can use both plugins! For one of the next updates, it is planned that the plugins will be compatible even if the „Street“ and „House number“ fields are separated.

OR you can use the endereco packing station check directly! Then you have all functions in one plugin.

What the endereco packing station check offers:

    • Address suggestions for zip code and town and the DHL packing stations available in the vicinity
    • Correction of incorrect entries for Packstation or post office numbers
    • Checking the validity of the postal number

  • Can I view my statistics via a customer account?

Currently, the monthly statistics can be sent by request or accessed via API. A dashboard is still being worked on.

  • Can I also use the endereco plugin for Shopware 6 in Premsoft's "OnePageCheckout"?

Yes, by default the endereco code is only loaded on the necessary pages to save performance and loading time. The OnePageCheckout only needs to be added to the controller whitelist. This is easily done in the endereco module developer settings.

Shopware 6.5.x: Simply add the controller name "OnePageCheckout" here. The endereco address check should then also be loaded on this page.

As of Shopware 6.6.x: Simply add the controller name "onepagecheckout" here (all lower case). The endereco address check should then also be loaded on this page.

  • What features does the Shopware 6 module offer?

Currently, checks are offered for name, e-mail address, telephone number and address. Furthermore, existing customers can be validated once. PayPal Express orders can also be validated. Additionally, street and house number can be split into 2 fields on the frontend. This does not change the fact that Shopware stores the data together in the "street"-field.

Oxid eSales

  • Is there support for OXID 7 yet?

Currently we are working on a module for OXID 7. We are waiting for the first customer project to try out the module together and gain experience.

  • How to install the module?

The module can be installed via Composer in OXID. Best done by an experienced OXID agency. You can find the instructions directly on Gitub or in our installation guide under Docs -> OXID6 Installation Guide

  • What functions does the OXID 6 module offer?

OXID 6 offers the functions address validation, name validation, e-mail validation and telephone number validation. Existing customers can be validated, as well as PayPal Express orders.

JTL Shop

  • Which functions does the JTL 5 module support?

With JTL 5 you can use address verification for new and existing customers, name verification and email verification. Existing customers and PayPal Express orders can also be checked. It is not yet possible to check telephone numbers, but this is planned.

  • Is JTL 4 still supported?

The module for JTL 4 will no longer be developed further. It can continue to be used as it is. We strongly recommend switching to JTL 5!

  • I get error messages when I install the JTL 5 module from Github and try to activate it in the backend!

The problem has been solved. By updating the module from the JTL Store or downloading the latest module version from Github, error messages should no longer appear.

Magento

  • I need help getting the Magento module to work in my store?

We work together with Celocore, a Magento agency. They are constantly developing the module for us and can make adjustments. Likewise, the team can help with the setup and adjust the implementation if necessary.

  • With which Magento version is the module executable?

As of Sept 2023, the current Magento version is the 2.4.6-p1. We always test the module based on LUMA theme.

  • In my address book, no checks are performed for address changes.

Currently, the address check is only performed on the address selected in the checkout when moving from the address data to the payment method. We are working on implementing the checks in the address book as well.

Plentymarkets

  • How can I use the endereco address check in order processing?

You can configure the plugin in the event actions. There, the orders are then automatically validated when this has reached the defined order status. If an address can be corrected automatically, the adjustment is performed on the address without interaction. If a major adesss change is necessary, the correction suggestion is written in the order note.

Dreambot

  • Can I also validate the fields "delivery name 1" and "delivery name 2"? There are often addresses in there.

Currently, only the fields Delivery route 1, Delivery route 2, Postcode, City and Country are taken into account. All other fields are currently NOT included in the check. An extended check for name fields is under development and will be made available as soon as it has left beta status.
