The validation here does not take place while the customer is entering information at checkout, but rather automatically afterward\u2014via a cron job directly in your Magento backend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The endereco backend module for Magento 2 automatically checks the shipping addresses of your incoming orders in the background using the endereco API. Orders with problematic addresses are flagged for manual review. class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If an order is on hold due to an address validation issue, you can review and correct it directly in the Magento admin panel:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to <strong>Sales \u2192 Orders<\/strong> and open the order.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At the top of the order details page, you'll see the <strong>Invoice-<\/strong> and <strong>Shipping Address<\/strong>, exactly as the customer entered it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scroll to the section <strong>Validated Shipping Address<\/strong>. Here, the address is pre-filled with the API's suggestion and displayed broken down into individual fields. You specify which of these codes are considered critical. However, we recommend creating your own status (e.g.,. <code><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\"><em>Address Validation Pending<\/em><\/mark><\/code>), so that orders with address issues are clearly separated from other suspended orders. This makes it much easier to filter and export only the affected orders in a CSV file.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 1: Create a new status<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to <strong>Stores \u2192 Settings \u2192 Order Status<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on <strong>Create New Status<\/strong> and fill in the fields:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Status Code<\/strong> \u2013 internal identifier, lowercase with underscores, e.g.,. <code>address_validation_pending<\/code>. This makes filtering in the order grid and targeted CSV exports much easier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-background\" style=\"background-color:#e5e7eb;color:#e5e7eb\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"cron-intervall-und-parallele-durchlaeufe\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cron Interval and Parallel Runs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Note:<\/strong> This is a known limitation that will be fixed in a future version. Until then, please follow this recommendation.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The verification cron job processes all orders that have not yet been verified in a single run. If the interval is set too short and a run takes longer than the interval, multiple instances of the job may start simultaneously. This can result in two runs processing the same order at the same time, which may lead to the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>duplicate entries in the table <code><em>parc_addressvalidation<\/em><\/code><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Duplicate order comments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The order is put on hold twice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What you can do until the issue is resolved:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Set the cron interval so that one run is guaranteed to complete before the next one starts. A safe starting point is 10 minutes (<code><em>*\/10 * * * *<\/em><\/code>).
