On February 17 and 18, 2026, we exhibited at the E-commerce Berlin Expo in Berlin.
Two intensive days full of discussions, new contacts and exciting impressions lie behind us.
You can read here what we experienced and what we took away with us.

The E-commerce Berlin Expo 2026 - 10th anniversary
Berlin Expo celebrated its 10th anniversary this year and moved to the Messe Berlin exhibition grounds for the first time. And you could tell: more space, more exhibitors and an all-round successful organization.
The figures speak for themselves: over 14,000 trade visitors, more than 340 exhibitors from over 30 countries and over 150 speakers on four stages.
You can find more information about the trade fair and the program in our Contribution in the run-up to the Expo.

Address validation and data quality - topics that move e-commerce
A trade fair thrives on direct exchange. There was a lot going on at our stand - from pre-arranged appointments to numerous spontaneous visits. We held successful discussions with online retailers and logistics companies and also discovered exciting new opportunities for cooperation.
One thing has become clear: Address data is still a real challenge for many retailers. The topic runs through the entire industry, from small niche stores to large brands. We were surprised at how different the challenges are depending on the size and focus of the store.
Particularly pleasing: data quality is no longer just seen as a „nice-to-have“ in e-commerce. Instead, it is seen as a concrete lever for fewer returns, less rework and greater customer satisfaction.
Address validation for Shopify - valuable feedback from merchants
A clear focus in many discussions was Shopify. Numerous retailers rely on this store system. And they know exactly what they expect from address validation in the checkout.
It was not just about the pure address verification. It was also about topics such as user-friendliness, performance and seamless integration into the checkout process.
We were able to take away many ideas and suggestions. We now know how we can further develop our Shopify app to adapt it even better to the needs of retailers.
Thanks for the input!
International address validation - a growing topic in e-commerce
We have also noticed that internationalization is becoming a key issue for more and more retailers. Expansion into new markets in Europe and beyond is at the top of the agenda for many.
Clean address data abroad is a challenge that is often underestimated. It was particularly well received that endereco Worldwide address validation offers. A topic that met with a great response from many of the discussion partners.
Networking at the trade fair
Some conversations at the E-commerce Berlin Expo were particularly memorable:
For example, the exchange with Mario from Sleep well.
With EyeAble we discussed the topic of accessibility in depth.
The discussions with Lynck (CrefoPay) and run-as-root about a possible collaboration.
We were just as pleased about the meetings with our partners from Melissa and OXID.
Thank you for your time, the open discussions and the exciting insights into your projects. We look forward to continuing the one or other thread of conversation!
What we take away from the E-commerce Berlin Expo 2026
Two days at the trade fair pass quickly, but the impressions remain.
What was new for us was how much the topic of address validation is also in demand outside of traditional online retail. Many companies see great demand in the logistics and fulfillment sector in particular.
The topic of AI in e-commerce is becoming concrete, especially in the area of agentic commerce.
For us, this means that our address verification must also work in a world in which AI agents place orders. Because speech recognition errors, comprehension problems and the like won't stop there either.
Data quality remains an ongoing issue, whether you are a small store or a large retailer.
Clean address data is the basis for smooth processes.
And: nothing can replace the personal exchange at a trade fair.
When cups start conversations
Visitors to our stand were able to buy enamel mugs from Cadouri take with you.
Printed with creative slogans, they obviously hit a nerve. Because many visitors even came back to get another one.
The cups were not only a real eye-catcher, but also a great conversation starter.
Thanks to all involved
A big thank you to the team at the E-commerce Berlin Expo. You have organized an all-round successful event for the 10th anniversary!
We would also like to thank all the visitors who came to our stand.
