Our front-end module validates addresses directly during checkout as your customers enter them—ideal if you want to prevent errors before the purchase is completed. Backend address validation comes into play one step later: It automatically checks all incoming orders in the background, regardless of the channel through which they were placed—whether via checkout, phone order, B2B order, or import from another system.
Both modules can be used independently or in combination: The front-end module catches errors directly at the customer level, while the back-end module ensures that every single order is checked—even those that don't go through checkout at all.
