The new version 7.0.4 of our endereco plugins for address validation makes your Shopware store even more stable, faster and more user-friendly. Particularly important: the checkout now runs more reliably, the plugin is more accessible and multilingual stores finally get suitable translations.
What's new?
- Customer input is respected: Previously, it could happen that confirmed addresses were still changed in the background. For example, „No.“ moved from the street to the address supplement. This no longer occurs. What your customer confirms is now adopted 1:1.
- Automatic salutation works again: On the registration and guest order page, the salutation and title were temporarily not set automatically. This now works reliably again and means less manual input for your customers.
- Compatible with performance plug-ins: Some external plugins for code optimization could previously damage our JavaScript code. We have fixed this problem. Your store now runs without errors even with activated performance plugins.
- Accessibility in the checkout: The address correction window can now be operated entirely by keyboard, even on the checkout confirmation page. An important step towards EAA compliance.
- Four new languages: Error messages and information texts in the storefront are now also available in French, Spanish, Italian and Dutch. This makes integration into multilingual stores much easier.
- Updated JS-SDK (1.14.2): The JavaScript SDK has been updated to version 1.14.2. The changes affect all pages with address validation, including the checkout confirmation page. This is the basis for the accessibility and stability improvements. In addition, the checkout now also runs more reliably in combination with third-party plugins. Orders are submitted correctly, regardless of where the customer clicks or whether they use the Enter key.
