With version 1.4.0 of our plugin for Shopware 6 we release some long awaited features that will be very useful for most of our Shopware 6 merchants and have been requested by many. The update is very comprehensive and forms the basis for many future enhancement possibilities. Please keep an eye out for updates - in case of reported problems we will release bug fixes in a timely manner. Therefore, just contact support@endereco.de if you notice any problems with the update or installation.
New features
- One-time address verification for existing customers who were registered before the plugin was installed (on the "Review and Complete Order" page).
- Checking PayPal Express shipping addresses before completing the order (on the "Review and Complete Order" page).
- Verification of first name, last name, academic title and salutation
- Checking e-mail addresses for deliverability of the mailbox/mail server
- Storage of status codes for each address check in the Shopware database
– Toolkit for integration of address validation in 3rd party applications/other plugins
- Should you find the OnePageCheckout for Shopware 6 from Premsoft you can now also use it with endereco if you add the controller "OnePageCheckout" to the whitelist in our module settings.
Optimizations:
The implementation is now leaner and fewer resources are loaded.
Bugfixes:
- Critical bugfix: in some situations a 500 error was generated when trying to enter an address with an empty street or house number. This made it impossible to submit the form.
- Bugfix of a problem that caused errors when updating the module (Migrations).
We advise all Shopware 6 customers to upgrade to version 1.4.2 to use all features.
