The endereco plugin for Wordpress and WooCommerce enables online retailers and website operators to validate customer data entered in forms.
Range of functions: #
- International address entry assistant for over 200 countries
- International validation of addresses consisting of the fields:
Country, postal code, city, street and house number - Detection of forgotten or invalid house numbers
- Checking e-mail addresses
- Phone number check
- Checking the name and salutation
The module automatically integrates itself into the WooCommerce Checkoutand CheckoutWC and rotates the address fields in the sequence:
- Country
- Zip code and city
- Street and house no.
During input, address suggestions are displayed and, in the event of errors, correction suggestions are provided in a pop-up. Small errors are automatically corrected and data is automatically standardized, e.g. upper/lower case, spaces, address additions removed or added.

The current version can always be downloaded via Github downloaded and installed in Wordpress via file upload. A release in the WooCommerce Store is planned!

Setting and configuration #
The following prerequisites are necessary to use the module:
- Applying for an API key - which must be entered in the module backend - to establish the connection to the endereco server
- Activation of the module and the required settings
- For live operation, the conclusion of a Agreement on the processing of order data by endereco is required. This can be done quickly and easily online using a digital signature.
